Try these quick fixes
- Check other devices. If your phone on Wi-Fi also has no internet, the problem is your router or provider, not this device.
- Restart your router. Unplug it for 30 seconds, plug it back in and wait 2 minutes for the lights to settle.
- Turn Wi-Fi off and on (or plug in a network cable) and turn off any VPN.
- Look for a sign-in page. Hotel, airport and café Wi-Fi often need you to accept terms first: open any website to trigger it.

How do I know if my internet is working?
Open is-my-internet-working.com. If the page says "Yes", your device can reach the internet. We confirm it by timing requests to Cloudflare's nearest data center and to several major websites, and we tell you if only some of them fail, which usually points to a DNS or network filtering problem.
Why is my internet connected but not working?
Usually the router has lost its connection to your internet provider, DNS is failing, or a hotel or airport network wants you to sign in first. Restart your router (unplug it for 30 seconds), try another DNS such as 1.1.1.1, and open any website to trigger a sign-in page. Our step-by-step guide at /fix/ walks through every case.
Is a website down for everyone or just me?

What is a good internet speed?
